Dr. Muñiz was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He has been trained by many world-renowned surgeons, and has also completed a one-year general surgery internship at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, and facial plastic surgery fellowship at Willow Bend Cosmetic Surgery Center in Plano, TX.
