I was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, in a family of five kids. I moved to North Carolina for college and played Division I basketball for four years. Outside of dentistry and sports, I love traveling, cooking, hiking, skiing, Pilates, photography, and spending time with family and friends!

My favorite foods are sushi, Khao soi, and Mediterranean food. I love a good book, buying more plants for my place, and crochet! My favorite trips were to Patagonia and Interlaken, Switzerland, where I went hang gliding!
